Immediately on resignation or termination of authorization/employment.
This access is granted to enhance emergency response capabilities and support law enforcement activities, including but not limited to: Improving Dispatch Accuracy, Supporting Traffic Incident Responses, Facilitating Vehicle Recovery, Supporting Traffic Enforcement, Investigating Criminal Activity, and Enhancing Public Safety.
Data Use Restrictions for US Virgin Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles Data to Law Enforcement and Emergency Responders:
Access to US Virgin Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles data is strictly limited to authorized personnel and intended solely for official purposes related to emergency response capabilities and law enforcement activities.
The following restrictions apply:

Authorized Access Only: Access to the US Virgin Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles data in VI Drivers is restricted to authorized personnel only. Unauthorized access is strictly prohibited. Data must not be accessed or used by individuals who do not have explicit authorization.

Prohibition of Personal Use: The US Virgin Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles data may only be used for official purposes related to law enforcement and emergency response. Surrender of Access: Users must surrender access to the USVI BMV VI Drivers data immediately upon resignation or termination of employment/authorization. Failure to do so may result in legal consequences.

Reporting Violations: Any suspected violations of these restrictions must be reported immediately to your authorizing superior and the US Virgin Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
Consequences of Violations:
Violations of these restrictions may result in investigation and legal consequences.
Acknowledgment:
By continuing to access the US Virgin Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles data in VI Drivers, you acknowledge that you are an authorized user of the system, and have read, understood, and agree to comply with all applicable restrictions and regulations regarding sensitive data use, security and privacy. The user also agrees to surrender access immediately upon termination of their authorization. BMV may conduct monitoring activities at any time. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from further use.
